Gardening: Stage 2 - NEW GROWTH!
Not only are Linnea & Signe shooting up - seems they've both hit a growth spurt - we have sprout-lets of ZINNIAS! After just 5/6 days our little seeds have sprouted! Linnea and Signe have faithfully checked at LEAST twice a day since planting. Yesterday there was nothing. Today - SPROUTS! They were so excited to show off the new growth. Papa's here visiting and got to hear all about the planting. And now about the flowers growing!!

No progress yet on the Sunflowers, nor have we planted our tomato plant! We'll update again as soon as we have more news to share on the gardening front! It is so fun watching the girls get jazzed about this gardening! We did this project not a moment too soon. Now I need to think up some more older toddler/preschool activities that will teach them something new!
Any ideas out there friends?
