Brookfield ZOO!

We love Brookfield ZOO - so much so we members! L & S even love the magazines and flyers that come in the mail... whatever comes gets them all excited about possible trips to the zoo. So on a nice day that just happened to work out for OUR schedules... we ventured to the zoo. LITERALLY A ZOO! Take a note from us and do NOT go on Friday's during the end of the school year. At least we brought our lunches and were not in a big rush.

After many many trips to this fabulously huge zoo I think we can say we've covered all of it. And can easily go so many more times and still discover new things. We're so thankful for our radio flyer wagon that gets the girls, a cooler, sunscreen and all around the zoo. (Thanks Mom & Dad)

Today was our first experience with Sting Ray Bay. Linnea LOVED it... reached right in and got soaking wet trying to reach the stingrays. Signe was a bit more timid and shrieked every time she saw them coming. Truthfully, we know she loved it!

When did L & S grow up so much? I look at these pictures and think, WOW! They've grown. More and more recently Dan and I will talk about how much they've changed. Their mouths never stop moving, even they will use the words 'chatty kathy'... they must hear it out of our mouths fairly often!

And yes, there was an outfit change... I'd recommend Sting Ray Bay... just bring a change of shirts for how soaking wet the kids get when they're reaching in to pet the Rays!! We ended up in the gift store buy t-shirts! L & S loved the shirts so much they wanted to wear them to bed that night! Such precious fun girls we have!!
